Agriculture ranks among the most dangerous industries, according to the United States Department of Labor.
Perhaps more than any other occupational group, agricultural workers are exposed to a tremendous variety of environmental hazards that are potentially harmful to their health and well-being. Workers suffer from increased rates of respiratory diseases, skin disorders, certain cancers and chemical toxicity.
These particles are both toxic and combustible.
The Agricultural industry is a high hazard industry where workers can be exposed to numerous serious and life threatening hazards. These hazards include: fires and explosions from fine agriculture dust accumulation.
